RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you like.
Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) to get them to tell you every time they have something new.
We currently offer a news RSS feed.
You download and install a browser that allows RSS feeds to be linked easily, like Mozilla Firefox.
Going to an RSS feed in Firefox looks like this:

You can then follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to our news.
Sites like Google allow you to create a profile, giving you a personalised Google homepage. You can add feeds and all sorts of things to this page.

Setting this as your browser's homepage then give you all your news, straight away!
You'll need to get hold of a program called a News Reader. This displays RSS information feeds from your chosen websites on your computer.
